Thanks for updating the App

Nice update to the original iOS5 app. Track mode is great to locate my dog. Easy to use and helps me manage my family while at work.

Well thought out!

Well done. Apple worthy. Very easy to use. Everyone in my extended family can connect at the same time. iPhone is cool, iPad is even better with this app.

Easy to Use

I love locating all my family members so easily! Very cool!

Great App

Simple and very effective, wish all apps were this useful!

Travel for a living

I travel for work at least three times and you better believe I bring my pocketfinder with me. With the new airplane mode update it saves my battery and makes it easy to find my luggage. Good job on new updates

Pocketfinder for all 3 kids

I have 3 pocket finders, 1 for each of my kids. I dont have to guess where they are after Elementary school junior high and high school . Thanks Apple

Dad lets me hangout

Dad lets my stay out with my friends after school as long as he knows where I am. :-)

If Only...

After using it for several days I feel compelled to upgrade my rating. There are some disconnects I have encountered and an occasional crash. Usability could be improved.

Loving the ease of travel

Just what I was looking for to keep track of my luggage. Thanks for the great customer service when I needed helping setting it up.

What youd expect, but needs one improvement

As far as the app goes, its exactly what you would expect, like "Find My IPhone" it some times is accurate only to about 100, which unless youre looking for something very small in a difficult location is fine...which brings me to my one complaint. We purchased this device to use to keep track of our 9 month old son while he is with his nanny all day...however, due to the design of the device itself, there is no real way to attach it to my son. Something as simple as a small hole through the elongated top of the device allowing a chain to run through, or some sort of holder that could be attached around his ankle or waist, really anything other than a solid block of plastic that cannot take any modification for concealed attachment really limits the market. If the device itself were slightly smaller/more concealable, and attachable to an infant...the purveyors of this device could corner a market with new, working parents and increase their profits EXPONENTIALLY, as there is NOTHING (except shady imported devices from china that require 100+ unit orders and blatantly dont work from even the most minimal research.) comparable. So Ill give the app 5 stars because it literally provides everything youd want...but with some slight modifications, the device itself could become the hottest selling item among working parents with infant children, overnight...just a suggestion. To be 90% to a billion dollar idea seems worth putting in the extra 10% of design prowess to increase profits 100 fold. Just one humble parent/trial attorneys opinion.

Doesnt Work

We bought the pocket finder to keep track of my 70 year grandpa while out hunting to help drag deer, after driving 500+ miles the pocket finder thought it was still ate home. I hope it starts working for my autistic cousin when we go skiing in march.

Mediocre

The updating of a location is painfully slow. While there is a "refresh" button in the app it rarely works. By the time the device updates several miles have elapsed in travel distance having passed multiple cell towers. Looking for a better alternative now.

Works now and again

Have been a subscriber for about 7 mos now. I have to call customer support at least twice a month. Some months even more. Device is fully charged and installed in my car properly and we dont get a read. I am told software updates..AT&T connection problems etc...today when I need to get a read and its usually at this time..no read. I am expected to pay the monthly charge but credit is never offered for substandard service. Their offices dont even let calls go thru when we need to call on the East Coast. I am certain that this isnt worth the effort if this kind of faulty service continues.

Questions

How do I make a account on this app??

Developer question

Why cant I acknowledge an alert from the mobile app? It seems pretty silly that I can see the alert in the app, click on it, see all the details, but have to go to a browser and log in to the website to acknowledge it and have the alert go away in the app.

Doesnt work. Patchy at best.

It goes for HOURS without updating even in "tracking" mode. (<!!!!) ,Theres no legend for the icons. It comes with weird covers with no instructions. One cover leaks black ink that permanently stains the white Pocketfinder. And finally, the map just puts a bunch of time stamps on top of each other. A line would be more user friendly but they dont seem to care about user friendly at all even tho you pay a $13 monthly fee on top of the expensive buying price. Good luck finding your kid. Geez.

Device doesnt work

Good app but whats the use if device dont work like they say on site. Just bought a refub iphone n used find iphone. Now i can really locate my kid.

I use this service every day

I love this product and service. I use it everyday and it works like it says on the tin. Thx PF

So far so good

Just installed this on a vehicle. And this app is tracking it like a charm so far!!

Pretty Decent

I have no qualms with the actual service, so far my experience has been great, but the app crashes a lot. Its not a huge deal since its starts up quickly, but it does get frustrating.
